Supporting the arts in our community by the sea
Inspiring Seldovia
A small town with a rich history, Seldovia has long been a meeting place for Alaska Native people, fur trappers, fisherman, crabbers, or simply those wanting to experience the incredible natural splendor of Kachemak Bay.
Our organization is dedicated to showcasing arts inspired by our unique surroundings, and enriching our community through events and programs. These year-round programs include the following: Seldovia Summer Solstice Music Festival, Songs on the Slough, Guitar Masters Concert, Higgy’s En Plen Air Art Week, Jakolof Bay 10 Mile Bike/Run, Salmon Shuffle, Drama Camp, Christmas Tree Lighting and the Winter Music Series of concerts.
The stunning natural splendor of Kachemak Bay - mountains, wildlife, forests, and coastline - serves as an inspiration for artists.
Especially in the summertime, Seldovia comes alive with concerts and music festivals featuring Alaskan musicians and visitors from across the country.
We host educational series and running events to both learn about and experience the natural world that surrounds our community.
