There was not a quorum for today’s scheduled meeting, so the attending members held a workshop to review current business.
We will be holding election of officers for 2009 next month. Nominations will be open from Oct. 1 till 15; voting will be held from Oct. 16 to 31. Results will be tallied and reported in early November. The call for nominations will go out to members via email from the secretary, and nominations will be made by return email. Voting will be conducted the same way.
All currently paid-up members are eligible to vote. If you don’t receive an email nominations notice, please email secretary@seldoviaartscouncil.org so we can make sure that we have your current email contact information. It’s not too late to pay outstanding dues and become eligible to vote: download a member application and mail it as the form instructs along with your dues check.

Tania Spurkland will be sending out an email soon asking for nominations:
We can have 4 officers and 5 boardmembers making 9 on the board, but we must have 5 !!!
Please think about running for a spot on the board. We need a wide variety of thoughts from various folks in the community to make the organization representative our diversity.
Thanks for your consideration:
Susan Mumma
